Drink Mix 320 is a drink based on hydrogel technology*. Mixing with water results in a sports drink with a high concentration of maltodextrin and fructose. As soon as the pH-sensitive drink comes into contact with stomach acid, it converts into a hydrogel. The hydrogel allows the mixture to be transported smoothly and quickly to the intestines, where water, salt and carbohydrates are quickly absorbed.

GEL 100 is a hydrogel, a biopolymer matrix that encapsulates carbohydrates. It is based on the same concept of drink mixes and allows the carbohydrates to be transported smoothly from the stomach to the intestines, where the carbohydrates are absorbed. In our drinks, the hydrogel is formed by the acid in the stomach - but GEL 100 is a factory-formed hydrogel, created by combining sodium alginate and calcium carbonate in precise proportions.
