Carbohydrates - As with all Nutrition Fuels, we never add simple sugars to the carbohydrate profile. Perpetuem contains a specific maltodextrin, which consists of almost 87% of its calorie composition from long-chain carbohydrates.
Protein – A calcium-fortified soy protein isolate known as "XT" makes up almost 10% of Perpetuem's calorie profile, the same percentage that is pulled from muscle tissue during long and slow endurance training. This particular soy protein contains one very high proportion of intact, cardiovascular-increasing isoflavones.
Fat - A de-oiled "super lecithin" (derived from soybeans) is ideal for consistently and reliably fueling the body. It ensures a pleasant feeling of satiety and supports the body's own fat burning.
Sweetener - Perpetuem contains Energy Smart®, the same healthy sweetener found in Hammer Gel.

What is the difference between Perpetuem 2.0 and the current version?
The Answer: The 2.0 Variant Contains Maltodextrin Based On Tapioca Instead Of Corn!
Furthermore, the content and dosage of the new Perpetuem 2.0 have been reduced. The reason for this was the feedback from some athletes. For many "light" athletes, the dosages (270 kcal) were too high. Athletes who only use Perpetuem as an energy supplier and tolerate it well can continue to dose as usual.
Our carbohydrate fuels contained a corn maltodextrin (complex carbohydrate) that was actually a very good maltodextrin. However, we found that tapioca (cassava root) derived maltodextrin offered the following benefits over corn derived maltodextrin, which is why we made the switch:
Tapioca requires much less processing than corn.
Unlike corn, tapioca is inherently non-GMO (although all of the corn maltodextrins we use in our products have been tested to be 0 ppb for GMOs)
Tapioca maltodextrin naturally has lower sodium levels and higher levels of naturally occurring potassium. Since most people are already consuming too much sodium, more potassium and less sodium is definitely a plus.
Tapioca maltodextrin has a more alkaline pH than corn-derived maltodextrin, which is also an advantage.

APPLICATION
Suggested Use: Scoops per hour based on body weight:
up to 55 kg:- up to 1 scoop
55kg - 70kg:- up to 1.5 scoops
70kg - 85kg:- up to 2 scoops
over 85 kg:- up to 2.5 scoops
The one-hour bottle: Mix the recommended number of scoops according to the table in a drinking bottle with 450 to 700 ml of water. Use one bottle per hour.
The Multi-Hour Bottle: Multiply the number of scoops by body weight (see table) by the number of hours of training/competition. Mix it up in a large water bottle and sip every 15-20 minutes. Drink 450 to 700 ml of water from another source.
Gel or paste: mix PERPETUEM with a little water to get a consistency like pancake batter. Pour it into a small bottle and only take small sips. Drink 450 to 700 ml of water from another source.
Note:
Because Perpetuem is a highly concentrated calorie source (KH/P/F), we've found that many athletes who use Perpetuem as their primary energy source burn less calories per hour than other energy sources . Therefore, try to start with the lowest recommended amount and increase if necessary.
TIP
For training/competitions up to a maximum of 2-3 hours, a pure carbohydrate diet can be more suitable than a carbohydrate-protein diet, i.e. a diet with HEED instead of the PERPETUEM.
