Norsan Omega-3 Vegan Capsules (80 capsules) contain plant-based algae oil and are 100% vegan. The algae oil used is cultivated in an environmentally friendly manner and is the same oil used in the most proven and popular liquid omega-3 vegan oil. With just one daily dose of 4 capsules, you consume 1700 mg of marine omega-3 fatty acids. This makes the vegan omega-3 capsules an ideal source of marine omega-3 for anyone who wants to avoid animal products in their diet.

With their unique photosynthesis, microalgae are the basis of our existence. They contain essential nutrients, including omega-3 fatty acids, which indirectly enter our diet through fish and seafood. Algae or seaweed oil is therefore a good alternative to fish consumption.

The manufacturing process is sustainable and environmentally friendly. We do not source the marine microalgae we use for Omega-3 Vegan from the sea. They are cultivated in large containers in artificial seawater. This conserves resources and preserves the food source for fish. Fish also enrich their omega-3 content through algae. This means we do not interfere with the natural ecosystem of the sea and fish and krill stocks are preserved.

Omega-3 Vegan contains a purely plant-based algae oil. The oil is based on the marine microalgae Schizochytrium sp. This type of microalgae consists of microscopic single-celled algae. It feeds exclusively on organic and plant-based substances, such as dead leaves. The microalgae Schizochytrium sp. is particularly rich in the marine omega-3 fatty acids DHA and EPA and is therefore ideally suited for further processing into vegan omega-3 oil. Due to its high omega-3 content, our plant-based algae oil naturally contains a high dose of omega-3. Subsequent chemical treatment to achieve a higher concentration is therefore not necessary.

Application

The recommended daily dose is 4 capsules. These should be taken with sufficient liquid with or after a meal. This ensures that the body can make optimal use of the fatty acids. One tin contains 80 capsules. With normal consumption, one tin is therefore sufficient for 20 days.
