Norsan Omega-3 Premium Swiss Plus (250 ml) is a unique combination of natural fish oil with a high EPA content and extra virgin olive oil from organic cultivation (antioxidant). A daily dose (8 ml, approximately 1 tablespoon) provides 2000 mg of omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA). The recommended dose of 2 g of omega-3 has been shown to be effective in regulating insufficient omega-3 levels in the body, which can be verified by measuring the omega-3 index.

The fish oil comes from wild and sustainable fishing. The fish oil is not obtained as a by-product, but directly from the whole fish. Small fish such as sardines, mackerel and anchovies are caught in the wild. In the capsule product, the olive oil is replaced by rosemary extract.

Unique 3-stage purification with microdistillation
Effective purification should ensure that the fish oil is free of impurities. This is typically achieved in a two-stage purification process. For the fish oil in Norsan Omega-3 Premium Swiss, we use a modern and unique 3-stage process that also includes the complex process of micro-distillation. This enables us to offer the best and cleanest quality.

Norsan Premium Swiss fish oil is guaranteed to be processed in an oxygen-free environment, providing optimal protection against oxidation. Oxidation causes fishy odours and has an unpleasant effect on the taste. The TOTOX value – the oxidation value or ‘freshness’ value of the oil (the lower the value, the fresher the oil) – is in the low range, confirming the high freshness of the oil.

For this purification, Norsan uses a modern facility in Norway that filters and purifies the oil from heavy metals in a unique way. The oil is filtered and purified of heavy metals, pollutants and PCBs while retaining the properties of fish oil. The special refining process is based on effective and unique triple purification during the first three process steps. While conventional industrial processes only use a two-step purification process, we also carry out a special micro-distillation process that precisely filters out the remaining pollutants.

The olive oil is supplied by Rafael, our olive farmer, who works according to ecological guidelines. We make regular visits to the site, not only because it is a beautiful place, but also to ensure a close relationship and the best quality. Omega-3s are particularly ‘sensitive’ and can be easily destroyed. They must therefore be ‘protected’ not only before consumption, but also after consumption in the body. For this reason, our Omega-3 Premium Swiss Plus oil contains 25% organic extra virgin olive oil, which acts as a natural and powerful antioxidant.

Application

The recommended daily dose is 8 ml, which corresponds to approximately 1 tablespoon. For optimal absorption by the body, it is recommended to take the oil with (or immediately after) a meal. At the recommended dose, the bottle will last for 25 days. The recommended daily dose should not be exceeded unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor.

Unopened products should not be exposed to direct sunlight and should be stored in a cool, dry place. Please note that crystals may form at temperatures below 4 degrees Celsius. These will dissolve again at room temperature after a few minutes. It is recommended to shake the bottle briefly before consumption. The product should be kept out of reach of small children. Once opened, the bottle should be used within 45 days and stored in the refrigerator. Food supplements are not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
