Norsan Omega-3 KIDS Vegan contains vegetable algae oil, which is rich in the marine omega-3 fatty acid DHA. It has been specially formulated to meet the needs of children and is easy to dose thanks to the child-friendly measuring spoon. The recommended daily dose (e.g. 2.0 ml for 35 kg) contains 1000 mg of omega-3. Omega-3 has been proven to have a positive effect on the brain, eyes and heart. The intake of omega-3 by the mother during pregnancy and breastfeeding or through follow-on formula has a positive effect on the normal development of the infant's brain and vision. Our brain alone consists of 60% fat – of which the omega-3 fatty acid DHA accounts for almost 20%. An adequate supply of omega-3 forms the basis for good cognitive development – brain food for the little ones, in other words.

Especially in the early years, mental, motor and visual abilities develop rapidly and continuously. This makes it all the more important to support children in the best possible way and provide them with the important nutrients they need. In addition to omega-3, our Omega-3 ALGA vegan also contains vegan vitamin D. This additionally supports the normal function of bones, muscles, teeth and the immune system.

The high quality and freshness of the raw materials guarantee the good taste of our oils. The taste of Omega-3 FISK oil is rounded off with a fruity note from natural orange oil, which is extracted from the flesh of the orange. As with our Norsan Omega-3 Vegan, the basis for the DHA-rich algae oil is the marine microalgae Schizochytrium sp. Unlike our classic vegan algae oil, the cultivation of DHA algae oil focuses on just one omega-3 fatty acid, namely DHA. We have selected DHA algae oil specifically for our vegan omega-3 oil for children, to meet the special needs of the youngest in their development and growth phase. The high quality and freshness of the raw materials ensure the good taste of our oils. The taste of Omega-3 FISK oil is rounded off with a fruity note from natural orange oil, which is extracted from the flesh of the orange. Application

The daily dose varies depending on the weight of the child. We recommend:

up to 17 kg: 1.0 ml per day; contains 500 mg omega-3 fatty acids
up to 26 kg: 1.5 ml per day; contains 750 mg omega-3 fatty acids
up to 35 kg: 2.0 ml per day; contains 1000 mg omega-3 fatty acids

Unopened products should be stored away from direct sunlight at a stable room or cellar temperature below 25°C. It is recommended to shake the bottle briefly before consumption. Keep the product out of reach of children. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Different intake recommendations apply to pregnant and breastfeeding women. Omega-3 oil must not be heated. Allow warm dishes to cool briefly before adding the oil. Food supplements are not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. For children aged 4 and above. Once opened, the bottle should be stored in the refrigerator and consumed within 40 days.
