Maurten DRINK MIX 160

Maurten Drink Mix 160 is a beverage based on hydrogel technology. When mixed with water, it creates a sports drink with a high concentration of maltodextrin and fructose. Upon contact with stomach acid, the pH-sensitive drink transforms into a hydrogel. The hydrogel allows for smooth and rapid transport of the mix to the intestine, where the water, salt, and carbohydrates are rapidly absorbed.

One pack of DRINK MIX 160 mixed with 500 ml of water contains 40 g of carbohydrates.

Mix the contents of one sachet with 500 ml of water and shake the bottle until the powder is completely dissolved. For proper hydrogel formation, the mixing ratio must be strictly observed. Likewise, the calcium content of the water should be less than 40 mg/l. Higher calcium concentrations may impair the dissolution of the product. The drink mix can be consumed before, during, and/or after exercise.
