Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for normal cartilage function and normal bone function. Vitamins D and K and zinc contribute to the maintenance of normal bones. The manganese contained in Burgerstein ChondroVital contributes to normal connective tissue formation and copper to the maintenance of normal connective tissue. Zinc, selenium, copper and manganese as well as vitamins C and E help to protect the cells from oxidative stress.
