DESCRIPTION The 100% Micellar Casein Protein from IronMaxx® with its anti-catabolic effect delivers slowly digesting protein building blocks that are available to the body as "building substance". Due to the long digestion time of casein protein the body is a constant amino acid pool. These amino acids are used as building blocks of proteins to maintain muscle mass. The long absorbability of Micellar Casein protein makes for a slower release of amino acids into the bloodstream and thus for a long-lasting feeling of satiety. Therefore, the 100% casein protein is especially suited for during the diet phase, as the last meal before sleep at night (Night-time protein) or for bridging longer meal breaks in the definition phase. Further advantages are the sweetening with stevia and the method of preparation of ultrafine protein powder with water as an alternative to milk. This makes it possible to dispense with some of the calories, fats, sugars and carbohydrates, which would increase weight, especially in the diet phase or a low carbohydrate diet.
Micellar Casein is a natural constituent of milk and is obtained by microfiltration of whole milk and thereby largely freed of milk sugar (lactose) and milk fat. The raw material thus obtained has a protein content from 80 to 83% protein and is not denatured, in contrast to other forms of casein or casein-types. Since Micellar Casein is a gentle filtered, non denatured Milk Protein, Micellar Casein contains all the valuable bioactive peptides of milk protein and has a high quality amino acid composition. In addition to 50% essential amino acids (EAAs), 20% branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs: L-leucine, L-isoleucine, L-valine), 20% glutamine and 100% Micellar Casein protein contains a higher than average proportion of arginine(3.5%).

UTILISATION Stir 250 ml of water or cooled, low-fat milk (fat content 1.5%) with 2 ½ heaped tablespoons of powder (25 g).
Take as needed up to 4 servings daily. Recommended consumption is before exercise or competition, directly after training and before sleep.
