What is collagen?

Collagen is a complex protein (protein) that is mainly found in connective tissue (including the subcutaneous tissue), in our tendons, ligaments, bones, joints, hair and teeth. At over 30%, collagen is the most abundant protein in the human body and, generally speaking, takes care of shape and stability.
